Lost Poetry Part 2

I am in the wind and the sky
and in whatever force ruffles
your polkadot dress.
I am straight and endearing
and innumerable by far
the greatest steed in the stable.
I am in the rivers as they pass
silently along, carrying your poisons
and your corpses.
You drink my water and die from dreamless sleep
stark against the ravings
of lunatics with pens.
